MELVILLE, N.Y. — The New York City-based bank doubles down on Long Island, N.Y.
Quontic Bank, having outgrown its home mortgage office in Jericho, N.Y., has expanded to a larger space in Melville.
The New York City-based financial institution’s new loan production office at 425 Broadhollow Road will originate mortgage loans serving customers across Long Island. This expansion into Melville will serve to continue Quontic Bank’s focus on offering niche portfolio real estate lending solutions, including residential, commercial and reverse mortgages.
Located in Melville’s vibrant business corridor, where Route 110 meets the Long Island Expressway, Quontic Bank’s new location means greater visibility and improved customer service.
“The Melville-Route 110 corridor is a hub for business in Long Island. Businesses both big and small call it home,” said Steven Schnall, chairman and CEO of Quontic Bank.
“Being located where many of our clients already work means we’ll be able to provide an even greater level of convenience and service.”
The new Melville office occupies the third floor of a four-story, multi-tenant office building. At roughly 5,858 square feet, the Melville office boasts 40 percent more space than its Jericho location. It will have nearly twice as many desks and private offices too.
“We began building our lending relationships in Long Island about three years ago, and we’ve grown to where we needed more space and an updated building to better serve customers,” said Michael Bocelli, new business development manager at Quontic Bank.
The Melville location will employ nearly a dozen employees, including seven loan officers and two mortgage operations professionals. The bank’s human resources department, headed by Mary Mollica-Senior, vice president of human resources, will also be based in Melville.
The new address for Quontic Bank’s Long Island loan production office will be:
425 Broadhollow Rd, Suite 302, Melville, NY 11747
All of Quontic Bank’s phone numbers and fax numbers will remain the same.
