What is an ACH error?

An ACH error occurs when something about the transaction is incorrect, such as:

1. A debit you canceled but was still processed
2. A payment taken for the wrong amount
3. A duplicate debit for the same transaction
4. A debit processed after you paid by another method
5. A debit for goods or services you did not receive
