How do I close my checking or money market account?

To close your account:

1. Log in to Online Banking or the Mobile App.
2. Navigate to Tools > Secure Forms (on the app, tap More > Tools > Secure Forms).
3. Select the Account Closure Form for checking or money market accounts and complete the required details.

Tip: If you choose a different account for your closure transfer than the one used for your initial deposit, we’ll ask for a color photo of your valid government-issued ID for verification.
